Watch: local filmmakers mix Gaga & women’s suffrage

Posted on 9 Mar 2012 by Justin Ruckman

Tim Alden Grant, Emilia Fuentes Grant, Adam Hobbs, and a whole cast of other locals, produced this music video for Soomo Publishing, which premiered this week to coincide with National Women’s Day.

Bad Romance: Women’s Suffrage is a parody music video paying homage to Alice Paul and the generations of brave women who joined together in the fight to pass the 19th Amendment, giving women the right to vote in 1920.

Truly amazing work from a talented from of Charlotteans!

The video’s website includes detailed cast info, teaching resources, lyrics, and a behind-the-scenes video.
