UNC Charlotte commits to neutralizing emissions and furthering climate research

UNC Charlotte Chancellor Philip Dubois has signed the American College & University Presidents’ Climate Commitment.
The commitment calls for institutions of higher education to neutralize greenhouse-gas emissions and accelerate research to help stabilize the earth’s climate. (…)
“We also realize signing this piece of paper is just a start, not the conclusion” he adds. “We must continue to discover practical sustainability goals for our students and employees and do what we can to help them succeed.”
