Charlotte Zombie Walk

Brains. Braaaaains! A zombie hoard of nearly 130 staggered through Uptown Charlotte Sunday afternoon. They sought to feast on brains at Epicenter, but left hungry. They sought brains from visiting Redskins fans, but again left hungry. There was much blood to be found, however – about thirty pints donated to the American Red Cross.

The 3rd Annual Charlotte Zombie Walk asked participants to donate blood at a Red Cross Blood Drive Uptown. Two other charities benefiting from the Walk this year were Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina and Costumes For Kids which provides Halloween costumes for disabled and underprivileged children.
