Charlotte, NC: Cost of living 6th lowest in the nation

According to the 2009 ACCRA Cost of Living Index Charlotte, NC is the area with the 9th lowest cost of living out of the top 40 metro areas. Currently sitting at 92.7%, this translates to a cost of living that is 8% below the national average making Charlotte a competitive metropolitan area in which to reside.
