..::Mint to Move Cultural Dance Party::..
This is a collaboration with Charlotte Latin Dance and ArtSí Charlotte, a community initiative supporting Latino Arts. Mint to Move is a Let’s Move Museums and Gardens event.
Join D.J. Pepito, one of the hottest DJs in Charlotte of salsa, mambo, cha-cha, merengue, and bachata, as we celebrate the Latino Arts.
Salsa: A Latin dance form with origins from Cuban Son (sound)
Bachata and Merengue: genres of music that originated in the Dominican Republic and spread to other parts of Latin America, Europe, and the Caribbean.
Music and Dance: A great way to bring together various cultures from North and South Carolina who love to dance!
Celebrate: Our global community and the art of movement.
When: Friday, Nov. 16, 7pm-11pm
Where: Mint Museum Uptown, 500 South Tryon St.
Cost: FREE for Mint Members; $10 for Non-Members; $15 per couple

Join us for our weekly Open Mic event, hosted by Stefen Micko and CP Maze! Bring your guitar, your notebook or just your voice. Many artistic collaborations have already come from these Open Mic’s. And some past participants, have and will be featuring in other upcoming events. We celebrate ALL Arts, ALL the time!!! So come join us as we invite you to LIVE OUT LOUD!!

The event incorporates art, culture, and food to give the audience a real taste of Africa. This event represents Africa in a light that is unknown to most. We invite you to join us as we open the gate to Africa!

The Renaissance Festival is a 16th century European style art and entertainment festival combining outdoor theater, circus entertainment, arts and crafts marketplace, a jousting tournament, a feast fit for royalty, and much much more. The 19th annual season opens this fall for seven festive weekends, Saturdays and Sundays, from October 6th to November 18th, 2012.
