Prepping for TechCrunch at the third Startup Social, June 19 @ 5:30 PM

We would like to extend the invitation to those in Charlotte’s entrepreneur and tech community to join us for our third Startup Social! If you are involved in the startup scene, then you may have attended one of the first two. If you haven’t, you’re in luck as well — there’s no format - just enjoy free food and beverages while making new connections and catching up with old ones! Of course, promote your startup and tell others what resources you are looking for! For example, I have been known to recruit developers for KYCK at previous socials (see above photo).
In November 2011, we held the first social at Brazwell’s. We had a great turnout and people stayed far longer than we expected (i.e. I was reading some of the live tweets as I was getting ready for bed)! The second social was at Packard Place in February where we had even more RSVPs and 85 people in attendance. We are headed back to Brazwell’s for our next Startup Social at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, June 19th. RSVP now and make sure you leave a comment so we can add your startup to the list!
There is a little twist this time: TechCrunch is coming to Charlotte and this is a great opportunity to make a bigger impression! TechCrunch is hosting a meetup at Packard Place on Wednesday, July 11. We are partnering with CLT Blog to do a video feature on the Charlotte startup community prior to this event, so we plan on doing entrepreneur and founder interviews at the social on June 19th. This is optional but we encourage all startups to take advantage of this free opportunity!
