You’ve probably heard “I Love Charlotte” on the radio, and seen the music video on YouTube (or our post two weeks ago). We sat down with Austin Hains (AKA DJ Complete) to learn more about the song, his work as a musician, and his feelings about Charlotte.
You can find him as @DJCompleteNC on Twitter, on his website, and his band, Addictive Nature’s, MySpace.
Interesting.
Speaking with Jocelyn Ellis a few weeks ago, she said some similar things about getting your music out there. It’s not just about getting signed to a label anymore — success is about working social networks, in person and online (which may be more important).
Good luck to you … and, when can we expect your next song?

Props for doin yo thang, DJ Complete. He’s like Charlotte’s very own Weird Al. Except his hair isn’t crazy long and curly. And Weird Al parodied good music. Queen City was due.
