A couple weeks ago we stopped by the then-unfinished Crêpe Cellar in NoDa to talk with partner Jeff Tonidandel about their vision for the restaurant & bar. In short, they’ll soon be selling crêpes out their front window, they have a system wired and ready for local musicians, and they definitely aren’t blind to the importance of having a good online presence. (See crepecellar.com and @crepecallar on Twitter.)
I visited for the first time on Friday night. Well, for the second time actually — the first time, when I walked in around 7:30, there was a two-and-a-half hour wait. Thankfully I returned at 11, waited 15 minutes, and sat down with my friends for a tasty, reasonably-priced meal of a ham & cheese crêpe, hand-cut fries, and a carafe of house red wine.
