Ikea to install fully furnished room uptown
Posted on 6 Feb 2009 by Justin Ruckman
“Swedish retailer Ikea will install a fully-furnished room on a corner in uptown Charlotte.
The site is meant to give future shoppers an advance look at Ikea goods before the store opens in the University area on Feb. 18.
The pop-up room will be at the intersection of Trade and Tryon Streets. It will be open to the public Feb. 12 and 13 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Ikea will donate the furniture to a local charity once the campaign has concluded.”
