Charlotte could get an F1 racing team

Autoblog uncovers USF1.com:
“The website reportedly belongs to a secret initiative to start a new Formula One racing team based in the United States. Motorsport journalist Peter Windsor and Ken Anderson (a former IndyCar, NASCAR and Ligier F1 team strategist) are said to be behind the effort, with the full backing of F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone. The team is said to be ready for launch next year, with its home base in NASCAR-dominated Charlotte, North Carolina and an agreement to use the local Windshear wind tunnel.”
They point out there are several existing teams up for grabs, and no Grand Prix in America, putting this move in question. We will have to wait and see. Read more by Noah Joseph at Autoblog.
