“Duke Energy Renewables will be the fifth-largest producer of wind power in the nation when it completes the projects it has announced so far this year.
Duke confirmed Tuesday that it will build a 202-megawatt second-phase of the Los Vientos Wind Power Project near the Gulf coast. The power will be sold to Austin Energy, the municipal utility for Austin, Texas, under a 25-year contract that could be worth up to $675 million.”
