Food trucks are all the rage today. Originating in the west as chuck wagons, food trucks have made their mark on the culinary world. Recently, Food Network hosted a reality/competition show, The Great Food Truck Race , in which food trucks from all over the country competed for prizes for the title of food truck supremacy.
Charlotte has a few food trucks roaming the streets but only Harvest Moon Grille comes to mind (don’t fault me). They serve healthy, locally-grown food in Uptown.
But what about those of use who don’t mind the extra calories with our meal? We now have the Holy Matrimony Pizz and Wings serving, you guess it, pizza and wings! Tailgaters, get ready…the Wingzza Truck is coming to a party near you.
Holy Matrimony, a family-owned business run by Lawrence & Robin Swayne, is poised to make its mark on the Queen City. With a simple yet tasty menu, the Wingzza Truck’s wings we’re filling and fresh. To learn more about them, visit them on Facebook or Twitter @ WingzzaTruck.
Did I mention, my lips are still stinging from the “mild” wings I ate 30 mins ago — yummy !
